I see DataStream as technology transfer. It will give us a place to store our information. Data entry is very difficult for us but also important. So we need some guidance, and I see DataStream as providing that, and it will help us to be able to compare our information, apples to apples.

But also, what happens if the Sackville River Association folds? All the information, all the volunteer hours, all the goodness that we’ve done would be gone. By being a part of DataStream, this information will not be lost, and our time and effort won’t be for nothing. That information that we’ve gathered about our rivers and watercourses will still be there.
